About Us

Volunteers helping the homeless with kindness and care.

Hope813 exists to bring the transforming power of Jesus Christ into the lives of individuals, families, and communities who are searching for hope, direction, and restoration. We are a Christ-centered ministry committed to more than inspiration—we are devoted to true life transformation rooted in biblical truth, Spirit-led discipleship, and practical care.

At our core, Hope813 was born out of a deep conviction: that people are not beyond redemption, that brokenness is not the end of the story, and that through Christ, lives can be rebuilt with purpose, clarity, and lasting freedom. We believe the Church is called not only to preach the gospel but also to walk alongside people in their journey—to equip them through effective discipleship programs, support them, and help them grow into who God has called them to be.

Our work centers on three foundational pillars:

Restoring Hope – We meet people in their lowest moments—those who feel forgotten, overlooked, or overwhelmed—and remind them that God has not abandoned them. Through prayer, encouragement, and direct support, we help individuals rediscover faith and the assurance that their lives still carry meaning and purpose.

Building Lives – Hope is only the beginning. We are committed to developing strong, grounded believers through intentional discipleship, mentoring, and teaching. We provide the tools, guidance, and biblical foundation necessary for individuals to grow spiritually, emotionally, and practically, enabling them to lead stable, fruitful lives.

Advancing the Kingdom – Our vision extends beyond the individual. We are raising up people who will impact their families, communities, and spheres of influence for Christ. Whether through service, leadership development, or outreach initiatives, we are committed to multiplying impact and advancing the Kingdom of God in tangible ways.

In addition to our direct ministry efforts, Hope813 actively partners with a broad network of trusted organizations, ministries, and community resources to ensure that those we serve receive comprehensive care. We recognize that true transformation often requires more than one point of support, and we are intentional about connecting individuals to the right resources at the right time.

These partnerships are not accidental—they are prayerfully cultivated and strategically built. We establish relationships with organizations that align with our values, demonstrate integrity, and have a proven ability to serve effectively in areas such as counseling, housing assistance, education, recovery, family support, and workforce development. Through ongoing collaboration, communication, and shared mission, we can extend our reach far beyond what we could accomplish alone.

By working together, we are able to bless, equip, and instruct those in need in a holistic way—addressing both spiritual and practical realities. Whether someone needs discipleship, mentorship, emotional support, or access to tangible resources, Hope813 serves as a bridge—guiding individuals toward stability, growth, and long-term transformation.

Hope813 is not just an organization—it is a movement of people who believe that faith must be lived out. We serve with compassion, lead with integrity, and remain anchored in the truth of Scripture while being sensitive to the real and present needs of those around us.

Under the leadership of Dr. Frank Flores, Hope813 continues to expand its reach, creating pathways for discipleship, mentorship, and community care that reflect both the heart of Christ and the power of the Gospel.

We invite you to be part of what God is doing—whether by receiving, serving, or partnering. Because when hope is restored, lives are rebuilt… and the Kingdom moves forward.

About Hope813 Ministries

Timeline illustrating Hope813's journey from 2010 beginnings to future multiplication and impact.

Our History

Hope813 was not built in a moment—it developed through years of ministry, experience, and a profound burden to see lives truly transformed by the power of the Gospel. Long before Hope813 became a recognized organization, its foundation was being laid through the everyday work of Christ-centered ministry—walking with people, carrying burdens, and witnessing firsthand the real needs within broken communities.

In 2010, while serving as a pastor in the needy community of Sanford, Florida, a defining shift began to unfold. What started as traditional pastoral ministry began to evolve into something deeper—a ministry of helps that transcended preaching and engaged with the practical realities of people’s lives. Day after day, the needs were undeniable: families struggling, individuals searching for direction, and many who felt unseen, unheard, and without support.

In that environment, God began to shape something significant. A conviction grew stronger—that the Gospel was never intended to remain within the walls of a church but was meant to be lived out loud through tangible, visible, and transformative actions. Ministry could not be limited to words alone; it had to be demonstrated through action, presence, and intentional care.

As that conviction deepened, so did our approach to ministry. Relationships were formed, lives were closely walked through, and practical help became as essential as spiritual guidance. What emerged was a model of ministry that combined discipleship programs with direct support, truth with compassion, and teaching with hands-on service.

Over time, this work expanded beyond a single setting. What was once local grew to encompass a broader vision—one recognizing the same patterns of need, brokenness, and spiritual hunger across communities. The call became clear: build something that could reach further, serve deeper, and impact more lives.

From that foundation, Hope813 was born.

Dr. Frank and Monica Flores are the founders of Hope813 Ministries. Married for 30 years, blessed with three beautiful children (Isaac, Jocelyn and Sarah), and serving in active ministry for more than 25 years, they share a deep commitment to helping people experience the hope of Jesus Christ through biblical truth, meaningful relationships, and practical care.

That commitment shapes Hope813 as a community-focused ministry that serves alongside local churches and supports Christians in their everyday lives. Through discipleship resources for every generation, personal mentoring, and compassionate outreach, Frank and Monica work to help believers develop lasting spiritual foundations and equip churches to make disciples who will disciple others.

Their vision also reaches into the practical challenges individuals and families face, connecting people with trusted professionals and community resources while continuing to offer prayer, encouragement, and support.

At the heart of their work is the conviction that people need both the truth of the gospel and the presence of those willing to walk with them. Together, Frank and Monica seek to lead a ministry where faith becomes visible through service, relationships nurture growth, and people are equipped to bring the hope of Christ into their homes, churches, and communities.

Our vision

Vision & Future

Today, Hope813 stands as the continuation—and expansion—of that original calling. What began as a response to immediate needs has grown into a structured, scalable, and Spirit-led movement designed to restore hope, build lives, and advance the Kingdom of God in both word and deed.

Looking forward, our vision is both clear and bold: We are building a Christ-centered ministry that not only meets immediate needs but also creates pathways for long-term transformation. Through our discipleship programs, mentorship, leadership development, and strategic partnerships, we are establishing a model that can be replicated, expanded, and multiplied across communities. A key part of this vision is strengthening and expanding our network of partnerships—working alongside trusted organizations, ministries, and resource providers to ensure holistic care. As this network grows, so does our ability to serve individuals in every area of life—spiritually, emotionally, and practically.

We are also focused on raising up leaders—men and women who will carry the same conviction to live the Gospel out loud. Through training, equipping, and intentional development, we are preparing people not just to receive help, but to become agents of transformation in their own communities. In the years ahead, Hope813 will continue to expand its reach, deepen its impact, and refine its systems—all while staying anchored to the same calling that birthed it in 2010: to meet people where they are, walk with them through real life, and demonstrate the Gospel not only through what we say—but through how we serve. Because this is not just about growth—it is about transforming lives and creating Kingdom impact that lasts.

What we believe

I. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, given by the Holy Spirit through human authors, and are wholly trustworthy and without error in what they teach. Scripture is the supreme and sufficient rule of Christian faith and practice — the norm by which every doctrine, experience, tradition, and reasoning claim must be tested. We receive reason, tradition, and experience as servants that illuminate Scripture, never as authorities alongside or above it.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21; Psalm 119:105; John 17:17.

II. The One True and Living God

We believe there is one living and true God, infinite in being, perfection, and holiness, eternally existing in three co-equal, co-eternal Persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — undivided in essence and united in purpose. God is sovereign Creator and sustainer of all things, who is holy in nature, and love in essence, governing the universe according to His perfect wisdom and unfailing character.

Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 1 John 4:8; Isaiah 6:3.

III. Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, one Person with two complete natures, fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life in perfect obedience to the Father and offered Himself as a substitutionary and sufficient atoning sacrifice for the sins of the whole world — not for the elect alone, but for all who will repent and believe. He was bodily raised on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and ever lives to intercede for His people as their great High Priest.

Scripture: John 1:1–14; Philippians 2:5–11; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Hebrews 4:14–16; 1 John 2:2.

IV. The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully God, sent to convict the world of sin, draw sinners to Christ, regenerate and indwell every believer, and bear witness with our spirit that we are children of God. We believe the Spirit sanctifies the believer wholly, empowers holy living and bold witness, distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church, and produces His fruit — love, joy, peace, and Christlike character — in all who yield to Him.

Scripture: John 16:8; John 14:16–17; Romans 8:16; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22–25; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11.

V. Humanity and the Fall

We believe all people are created in the image of God, possessing inherent dignity and worth, and were made for fellowship with Him. Through Adam's disobedience, sin entered the human race, and every person is now born with a corrupted, sin-inclined nature and stands under condemnation, utterly unable to save or sanctify themselves apart from grace. Yet no person is beyond the reach of God's grace or the offer of redemption in Christ.

Scripture: Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1–3.

VI. Prevenient Grace

We believe that before anyone seeks God, God's grace is already at work — going before conversion, awakening the conscience, drawing the sinner toward Christ, and enabling a genuine response of repentance and faith. This grace is extended freely to all people, restoring to fallen humanity a measure of free will in relation to salvation, so that no one who responds to the Spirit's drawing is turned away, and no one who resists it is condemned for a lack of grace given.

Scripture: John 1:9; John 6:44; Titus 2:11–12; John 12:32.

VII. Salvation — Repentance, Justification, and the New Birth

We believe salvation is the free gift of God, provided through the atoning death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and received by grace through faith alone, apart from human merit or works. When a sinner truly repents and believes, God graciously and freely pardons their sin, declares them righteous through the imputed righteousness of Christ, and instantaneously imparts new spiritual life, making them a new creation and adopting them as a son or daughter into His family.

Scripture: Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1; Titus 3:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:15–17.

VIII. Assurance and the Perseverance of the Believer

We believe it is the privilege of every believer to know they are saved through the direct witness of the Holy Spirit, confirmed by the fruit of a transformed life. We believe believers are kept by the power of God through faith and are called to continue steadfastly in Christ, walking in obedience and abiding grace; salvation is not the reward of works, but a persevering, living faith remains the instrument by which grace is continually received.

Scripture: Romans 8:16; 1 John 5:13; Jude 24–25; John 15:4–6; Hebrews 3:14.

IX. Entire Sanctification and Christian Holiness

We believe that regeneration is the beginning, not the fullness, of God's saving work. It is the privilege and calling of every believer to be entirely sanctified — cleansed from the inbred bent toward sin, wholly consecrated to God, and filled with perfect love toward God and neighbor by the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit. This entire sanctification, ordinarily distinct from and subsequent to the new birth, does not remove human frailty or the possibility of temptation but establishes the heart in holy love and empowers a life of continual growth in grace and Christlikeness.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:23–24; Matthew 22:37–39; Romans 6:6, 22; Hebrews 12:14; Acts 15:8–9.

X. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a definite experience of divine empowerment, distinct from and subsequent to the new birth and entire sanctification, in which the believer is endued with power from on high for witness, service, and the exercise of spiritual gifts. Speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance, accompanies this baptism as its initial physical evidence, and we believe that believers are to be continually filled with and led by the Spirit.

Scripture: Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4, 38–39; Luke 24:49; Acts 19:1–6.

XI. The Gifts of the Spirit and Divine Healing

We believe the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts to the Church for the common good, and that all the gifts named in Scripture — including tongues and interpretation, prophecy, healing, the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, and the working of miracles — remain valid and in operation in the Church today to be exercised in love and in submission to the authority of Scripture. We believe divine healing was provided for in the atonement of Christ, and we pray in faith for the sick, trusting God's power and sovereign wisdom in every circumstance.

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 12:1–11; 1 Corinthians 14:1, 39–40; Isaiah 53:4–5; James 5:14–16; Mark 16:17–18.

XII. The Church

We believe the Church is the body and bride of Christ, composed of all who have been redeemed by His blood, called out from the world for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission. We believe the local church is God's ordained instrument for making disciples — participating in transformative ministries, administering the sacraments, exercising loving accountability, equipping the saints, and extending the Gospel to every nation.

Scripture: Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Peter 2:9–10.

XIII. The Means of Grace

We believe God has appointed ordinary channels through which His grace is conveyed to believers, including prayer, the study of Scripture, the Lord's Supper, baptism, fasting, and Christian fellowship and accountability. We observe the Lord's Supper as a means of grace and remembrance of Christ's atoning death, and baptism as the sign of entrance into the covenant community and identification with Christ's death and resurrection. We believe diligent use of these means is essential to growth in grace and perseverance in holiness.

Scripture: Acts 2:42; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26; Matthew 28:19; Hebrews 10:24–25.

XIV. Marriage and the Family

We believe marriage was instituted by God as the covenant union of one man and one woman for life and is the foundation of the family and a stable society. We believe children are a heritage from the Lord, and parents bear the primary responsibility, under God, to raise them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

Scripture: Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Psalm 127:3; Ephesians 6:4.

XV. The Sanctity of Human Life

We believe every human life is sacred from conception to natural death, created in the image of God and possessing inherent dignity that no circumstance can diminish. We are called to protect, defend, and care for the vulnerable and the voiceless at every stage of life.

Scripture: Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah 1:5; Exodus 20:13.

XVI. Evangelism, Discipleship, and Social Holiness

We believe every believer is commissioned to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. Following the conviction that “the Bible knows nothing of solitary religion,” we believe personal holiness and social holiness cannot be separated: genuine love for God is inseparable from active love and mercy toward neighbor, expressed in caring for the poor, the broken, and the marginalized, and in working for justice and restoration in society.

Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 1:8; James 1:27; Isaiah 61:1–2; Micah 6:8.

XVII. The Last Things

We believe in the personal, visible, and triumphant return of Jesus Christ, the bodily resurrection of the dead, and the final judgment, at which every person will give account before God. We believe the righteous will enter into everlasting joy in the presence of God in the new heavens and the new earth, and the unrepentant will be eternally separated from Him. We live now in the hope of His appearing.

Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 21:1–4; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Titus 2:13.

FINAL DECLARATION

We stand upon the authority of God's Word, the lordship of Jesus Christ, the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, and the mission of the Gospel — contending earnestly for the faith once for all delivered to the saints, and pressing on toward the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
